After the highly rewarding detour to Cape Le Grand National Park, we returned to Esperance on Saturday morning. It was just in time for us to join many other customers in the hustle and bustle of the supermarket and get hold of supplies for the next 14 days.

Across small mountains to wide beaches
What a privilege that Andrea entrusted us with her pretty home in the middle of Denmark! We had settled in comfortably when our hostess came home and we greeted her in her garden🙃.
Perth and the Southwest
After saying goodbye to Sigrid and Philip, we picked up groceries for the next few days at the supermarket and found a cheap coffee at the petrol station, but had no enthusiasm to hit the road😉. A headwind and the usual rough road surface did their fair share.

We would have loved to stay a few more days with Martine in Broome, but the heat and humidity were getting uncomfortable. It was time for us to head south to cooler regions…
Shaken and dusted through the Kimberley
The second stay in Kununurra also went by in a flash. Apart from relaxing evenings with Ann, the program included short early morning hikes to the Kellys Knob viewpoint at sunrise and through the nearby Mirima National Park.
