Kibbutz Workaway and Sightseeing in Israel
We spent our second volunteer assignment with a carpenter / beekeeper / gardener on a privatized kibbutz near Tel Aviv. Under the name Ivry-B, Eran and his team produce round wooden beehives. Thanks to a transparent cover, the bees can be observed without disturbance.
Hydroponics Workaway and Negev
The very day after our arrival in Haifa, we left for our first volunteer assignment near Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee. Our host and employers were enthusiastic hydroponics professionals with a lot of innovative and pioneering spirit.
Two weeks crisscrossing Cyprus
The fact that the ferry from Turkey arrived in the port of Girne at 08:30 instead of 04:30 came in convenient for us. We did not have to wait on a park bench until dawn, but could go directly to a coffee. 😊
Crossing Anatolia, Part 4
